"I began working with Brett Williams after attending his 9 Step Business Growth Seminar. I was already an avid marketer, running a successful salon for the previous 15 years, but I was ready to take my business to the next level. Over the following 2 years Brett developed a variety of highly effective new business marketing programs using strategic alliances and referral programs, and helped maximise my client retention through lapsed and lost customer direct marketing system.

The results have been amazing. I gained 329 new clients from one strategic alliance mailout, and 360 from another. "Minuteman Press began working with RESPONSE Marketing Solutions in late 2001. Back then Brett Williams developed a marketing program for us that we still use to this day. "In 2001, Brett Williams came to see me at my gym. I wanted to grow the business but I knew nothing about marketing. Brett had been referred to me by a friend, so I trusted him and gave him free range to market the business how he saw fit. "DDI Asia Pacific is strategic human resource consulting firm providing leadership and selection solutions to the Australian market. When developing our marketing program we contracted Brett Williams of RESPONSE Marketing Solutions to help us develop a "key account relationship marketing program" to help our account managers build personal relationships with HR Directors in the Top 100 companies across Australia (not an easy contact to get hold of.)

The early feedback after initiating our relationship marketing program has been very positive indeed. Our sales people are finding it easier to get past phone screens to talk to the key contacts, and to our surprise, the contacts are requesting appointments at earlier stages than we had planned, even though at this point we are not even asking for appointments! “I first began working with Brett Williams of RESPONSE Marketing Solutions around the time I started working in as a Display Advertising Sales Consultant. Our focus was on developing our media products and services, our media kit and our magazine display sales process.

Over a period of 3 months, Brett worked with me to develop 9 new media marketing products. We created a new media kit to explain these services and created a consultative sales process that helped us to develop an “Integrated Media Marketing Program” for our clients. Our media company  no longer sells advertising products, we now provide integrated marketing solutions tailored to the client's needs, with services that meet both the branding and direct marketing objectives of the client's business.

I was fortunate to be one of the first Media Marketing Consultants (that's our new title) to start selling using this approach. I'm passionate about the media kit and the new products because I see the excitement with the clients when I show them how we have customised an integrated media marketing program to help grow their business. With our new closing strategy we're also turning the sale around within a week, where as in the past it might take 1 to 2 months.
