I have been to at least 15 marketing and sales workshops throughout my career. This is the first time that so many very real and practical solutions have been provided.

From day one, the information flowed, and the mind boggled as to the potential of implementing just a few of the marketing strategies that were presented. The amount of relevant, up to date and invaluable information absolutely captivated a room full of professional business people.

I was amazed to find out that I fit into the category of "unconscious incompetent" - "I didn't know that I didn't know".

Now we are working on a very clear marketing plan that we can "test and measure".

Toucan is headed in a new and exciting direction, with a wealth of new marketing strategies backed up by tried and tested formulas.

I am really looking forward to seeing the results. Realistically we are looking to grow the business by 20% to start. Already in the first week I have made some strategic alliances, and new opportunities from these sources are starting to come through. The possibilities are endless. We have assessed our 5 points of difference, and really learnt a lot about ourselves in the process. Actually it was a bit of a wake up call. Why haven't we been promoting our business like this before? It's a very exciting time for us.

Having just completed "Systems for Success" Workshop I'm in awe at the level of understanding that Brett has within his chosen field, including direct marketing and key account relationship marketing, both of which interest me greatly.

I have attended many sales/marketing workshops over the years but none have presented anywhere near the depth of content, knowledge, expertise that I experienced at Brett's workshop let alone expose the 'secrets of copywriting'. Hi Brett, just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you for allowing me to come to the weekend workshop. I decided I wanted to go to it last year but as you know things kept popping up, well I’m so glad this time I didn’t let anything stop me. I never realised to the extent that I wasn’t running a business, it was running me! The workshop has brilliantly broken down the different steps to measuring, marketing and systemising your own business.

The nine step program is an ongoing working tool that I’m using on a daily basis. Some of the steps that are paramount to my business include Points of Difference and Service Delivery System which go hand in hand for my business.  With so many carpet cleaners out there using similar machines and techniques, I realised during the weekend there was a huge opportunity to deliver my service above expectation which would become one of my points of difference. I’m expecting by utilising a specific plan for follow up and customer contact to improve my word of mouth referrals at least by double.

Measurement system was also an important section as now I can see what marketing is working the best. This will mean that I save money by investing my time and money into the marketing and advertising programs that I now will know produce the best results.

As I’m sure you are aware from my enthusiasm at the workshop I could go on and on because there were so many practical ideas that could directly improve my business not only in the short term but also the medium and long term.

To summarise, I learnt many ways (without spending the yellow pages kind of dollars and sitting there praying for the phone to ring) to take responsibility for the success of my business and Systems for Success has become my bible for my business and as long as I action the ideas and strategies, I cannot fail.
